Description

Primary Uses

  • Severe Musculoskeletal Pain: Used for intense back pain, neck pain, or muscle strains where a standard painkiller isn’t enough.

  • Arthritis Flare-ups: Provides relief from the joint pain, swelling, and stiffness associated with Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, and Ankylosing Spondylitis.

  • Post-Surgical Pain: Often prescribed after minor surgeries or dental procedures to manage inflammation and pain.

  • Injury & Trauma: Used for pain relief in fractures, dislocations, or severe sports injuries.

  • Fever with Body Ache: The 650 mg of Paracetamol makes it very effective at reducing high fever accompanied by severe body aches.

How the Ingredients Work Together

  1. Aceclofenac (100 mg): An NSAID (Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug) that specifically blocks the chemicals (prostaglandins) that cause redness, swelling, and heat at the site of an injury.

  2. Paracetamol (650 mg): Works primarily in the brain to block pain signals and reset the body’s “thermostat” to lower a fever. The 650mg dose provides stronger, longer-lasting relief than the standard 325mg or 500mg doses.

Important Safety Precautions

  • Stomach Protection: This medicine can be harsh on the stomach. Always take it with food or milk to prevent acidity or stomach ulcers. Doctors often prescribe a “gas” medicine (like Esomeprazole) alongside it.

  • Liver & Kidney Warning: * Paracetamol Limit: Since this contains 650 mg of Paracetamol, do not take any other “cold and flu” or “pain” medicines without checking the labels. Exceeding 4,000 mg of Paracetamol in a day can cause fatal liver damage.

    • Alcohol: Avoid alcohol entirely while taking this, as the combination significantly increases the risk of liver toxicity and stomach bleeding.

  • Asthma: If you have a history of asthma or are allergic to Aspirin, consult your doctor, as NSAIDs like Aceclofenac can trigger an asthma attack.
