Abdominal Pain & Cramps: Relieves stomach pain associated with gastritis, ulcers, or general digestive upset.

Menstrual Pain (Dysmenorrhea): Very commonly used to reduce severe cramping during periods.

Kidney & Gallbladder Stones: Helps ease the sharp, “colicky” pain caused by stones as they pass through the urinary or biliary tracts.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS): Reduces the bloating and spasms often felt by IBS patients.

Other Uses: Occasionally used to ease labor pains (by helping cervical dilation) or to treat tension-type headaches.
How to Take It

Dosage: The typical adult dose is 40 mg to 80 mg (1–2 tablets), taken 2 to 3 times a day.

With Food: It can be taken with or without food. Taking it with a meal may help if it causes you mild stomach upset.

Administration: Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew it.
